The Jazz Martyrs sound is melodic and rhythmic, but doesn’t stray too far into obscure musical gymnastics. A combination of classic jazz standards along with jazz arrangements of pop tunes from the past will surely entertain you. All it takes for someone unfamiliar with jazz to become a convert is exposure to the real thing. There is no denying the magic, intensity and honesty. Formed in 2011, Jazz Martyrs is comprised of musicians Rimvydas Paulikas on sax, Luke Thomas on guitar, Jamey Holbrook on bass, Eve Elliot on keyboards, and Paul Marangoni on drums.
